Whether It’s a Grab-and-Go or a Sit-down Meal, These DVC Resorts Hit the Spot!

If there is one thing we all know about me, I LOVE Disney food. Who doesn’t? Am I right, or am I right? Every time I think about Disney, there are so many wonderful memories that cross my mind, but the food is always popping up left, right, and center!

Seasonal Arancini from Bar Riva at Disney’s Riviera Resort. The arancini are served in a metal basket with a small metal bowl of marinara sauce for dipping, with white parchment paper underneath decorated with the golden “RR” logo of the resort.
If you’re looking for some dining hot spots in Walt Disney World, I have some good recommendations. From breakfast to lunch and dinner, these restaurants at DVC Resorts offer some of the best-tasting meals you will have on Disney property, in my opinion.

‘Ohana Breakfast Skillet from Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Scrambled eggs, sausage, fried island-style potatoes and a biscuit are visible, served in a black cast iron skillet with silver tongs on top. Behind the skillet is a glass decanter full of orange POG juice.

What better way to kick it off than with two of my favorite breakfast spots? One location offers one of the most memorable breakfast experiences, and the other is a great quick service option with lots of deliciousness!

The sign for 1900 Park Fare at the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The sign has a Victorian design with 1900 Park Fare written in a blue font, and a black and white carousel drawing in the center. On either side of the carousel there are old-fashioned streetlamps, and a pink banner reading “turn of the century charm. A magical menagerie.” This sign is framed by an ornate blue frame with beige damask wallpaper behind it.

Look no further than 1900 Park Fare, located at the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, for all your dreams and wishes to come true!

Small white cups of pink Strawberry Soup on a white serving tray on the 1900 Park Fare buffet line. To the left of the Strawberry Soup is a white serving bowl of red, sliced strawberries.

This breakfast buffet is truly one of a kind. You can meet some of your favorite princesses and princes, all while you indulge in everything you can imagine. Cinderella, Aladdin, Princess Tiana, and Mirabel will all make dashing appearances for hugs and pictures! I love some classic Mickey waffles, along with breakfast sausages and bacon, and let’s not forget that they have the famous POG juice. With Strawberry Soup and endless hashbrowns, the list goes on for what you can eat. But I will say that my favorite part of all was getting to make a wish. With my wish card, I became a Wish Maker, all while enjoying some delightful eats.

A hand holds a Wish Maker card at 1900 Park Fare. The card is beige with a large star symbol in the center. Around the edge of the card there is a blue ribbon design connecting Cinderella’s glass slipper, Tiana’s tiara, the candle from Encanto, and the Genie’s lamp from Aladdin.

Princess Tiana stands smiling with her hands on her hips at 1900 Park Fare. Tiana is wearing a soft green jacket with a yellow collar, red and blue kerchief, a light brown hat, olive green pants, and brown knee-high boots

My favorite quick spot for breakfast would have to be Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. With a few different types of entrees, along with some simple sweet treats and snacks, there is a lot for you to choose from. The Bounty Breakfast Platter was one of my favorites, with classic scrambled eggs, French toast with bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, and a biscuit; I like to keep it simple but filling! However, if you have yet to try it, I would 100% recommend ordering the Tonga Toast, as this was something to remember and only something you can find at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Tonga Toast is banana-stuffed sourdough bread battered and deep fried and then coated with cinnamon sugar. It is to die for!

An order of thick, golden brown Tonga Toast and bacon on a colorful plate from Capt. Cook’s shown in the outside seating area. Behind the plate of food there is a tiki-style statue and the boat dock at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

You will not be disappointed if you check out these two dining options at two of my favorite DVC Resorts.

The interior entry way leading into Capt. Cook’s. The outside of the door frame is decorated with green palm leaves and flowers, and the restaurant’s name is shown at the top in orange writing.

Moving on to lunch, another of my favorite meals of the day! With so many options, it was hard to pick just two. After thinking about all the delectable dishes I enjoyed, I was able to select my two favorites: Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Villas and Sanaa, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas, Kidani Village

The white and glass double door entry way to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Villas. The building exterior is blue, and the restaurant sign is light and dark blue with a pink and brown ice cream cone. There is also a sign displaying the restaurant’s menu in the background.

A dark wood sign reads “Sanaa” in colorful lettering. The sign displays the restaurant’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, and lounge hours, with a multicolored border and black background. Behind the sign there are multiple wooden African artifacts on display.

To start the afternoon, Beaches & Cream has won me over for lunchtime favorites. With a simple but delicious menu, you can’t go wrong dining here! This spot has the best grilled cheese and tomato soup in Disney, and I stand by that statement. I truly love this soup so much; I came back from my trip and immediately made it at home. You can also choose to add bacon or ham to the classic grilled cheese to create your perfect flavors. To add, they have different kinds of loaded tots, and who doesn’t love some tots? Before you head out, be sure to finish with the Kitchen Sink; you’ll definitely need to wash down your meal with some ice cream!

A hand holds up the blue, white, and yellow menu for Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Behind the menu is the restaurant interior with beige bench seating and white tables, colorful jukebox, and Cast Members and guests dining.

The large Kitchen Sink ice cream sundae is shown in a large, silver, sink-shaped bowl. There are vanilla and brownie cake pieces, lots of whipped cream, cherries, sprinkles, and chocolate sauce topping the dessert.

Stopping by one of the most delectable dining experiences you could have, Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas, Kidani Village, is one of a kind with its phenomenal menu. I suggest starting with the Indian-style Bread Service and Samosas. You will receive five different types of Naan bread accompanied by nine different dips to coordinate with the bread. The samosas are full of flavor with tamarind and mango chutney to get the taste buds going! While you indulge in these incredible flavors, you might see some exotic animals roaming outside the restaurant windows, making for an unforgettable experience all the way from the food to the atmosphere!

If you are ready for some beautiful views and the most unreal food I have ever had at Disney, these next two spots will win the Best Dinner award, in my opinion. ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and Bar Riva at Disney’s Riviera Resort have some of the best food on WDW property.

A paddle-shaped wooden sign reading “’Ohana” in dark blue writing. The sign is hung on a dark wood post and has yellow flames above the eatery’s name, with a light brown and white carved design around the edge.

The exterior corridor showing the hanging sign for Bar Riva at Disney’s Riviera Resort. The blue sign with gold and yellow writing of the restaurant name hangs from a black iron arm against a brown stone wall. Under the sign there is a tall 2-person table with blue seats.

Bar Riva is one of my favorite locations to pop into, and I have eaten here a few times! This spot is an open-air pool bar that you can walk into and grab a refreshing spritzer or frozen cocktail with some mouthwatering menu items while you catch the sunset on the lake! If you are staying here or visiting this DVC Resort during your time at Disney, pop into Bar Riva. You will not regret it!

The interior of Bar Riva. The floor and bar are both decorated in blue and white patterns, with wooden tables. On the back wall there is a blue and white mural of the Mediterranean coastline and ocean, and blue seats line the bar.

Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows has some amazing food options for guests to get into; however, ‘Ohana for dinner would be my top recommendation. This spot is one to remember, and it has a variety of items to try. It is an “All-You-Care-To-Enjoy” dining experience with mixed greens salad, honey-coriander chicken wings, pork dumplings tossed in garlic-chili sauce, and the ‘Ohana Dinner Skillet with even MORE food options. And let’s not forget about the Signature ‘Ohana Bread with honey butter and ‘Ohana bread pudding for dessert! To top it off, if you make your reservation for the time the Magic Kingdom fireworks commence, you might see some action in the sky!

All-You-Care-To-Enjoy ‘Ohana Dinner Skillet. Honey-coriander chicken wings, dumplings, ‘Ohana noodles, and broccoli are served in a black skillet with silver tongs on top.

‘Ohana break pudding dessert served on a white plate with a silver spoon, ice cream and golden-brown caramel sauce.

There are some great dining experiences to be had at these DVC resorts along with so many others! I highly recommend visiting the different properties and checking out the various food options; you never know what you may find!

The light and dark brown dining room of Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Diners sit in around tables, and the orange and yellow light of sunset can be seen out of the restaurant’s large windows.
