Wandering Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Part 2
Back in January I posted a tour of Old Key West’s Hospitality House area. Today, let’s wander around some of the other areas of this beautiful resort.
Old Key West is a tropical retreat with a laid back feel. The pastel painted buildings are arranged in small clusters throughout the resort. When you stay here you can’t resist the urge to slow down and relax. I especially like starting my day with a cup of coffee on the balcony.
In addition to the main pool located near Hospitality House, there are also 3 quiet pools, each with a whirlpool spa, in the Old Turtle Pond, South Point and Miller’s Road sections. The largest of three can be found in the Turtle Pond section. In addition to its size, what sets this pool apart from the others is the playground and the Turtle Shack pool bar.
All of the pools at Old Key West have a hot tub, as well as restroom and laundry facilities.
The Lake Buena Vista golf course runs through Old Key West, creating some absolutely stunning views.
We’ll end our tour today with a walk around the Miller’s Road pool.
