ErinAdvocates & Family Visit Bay Lake Tower!

31 days. It’s been a whole month since our family spent 5 days in the most magical place on earth. A whole month of far less magic. And every day since returning home, the kids (and adults!) have been asking to go back.

We had the privilege of staying in a Two Bedroom Villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, just minutes away from Magic Kingdom Park. This has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. On our Disney vacations growing up, I always watched from the monorail window as we rode THROUGH the Contemporary Resort and wondered if one day I’d get to be one of the people boarding from the hotel lobby.

The monorail pulls into the station inside of Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World.

Among many others on this trip, my dream came true! We booked our stay with David’s Vacation Club Rentals, giving us the best opportunity to stay on exclusive Disney property typically reserved for Vacation Club owners. The perks of staying at a Deluxe Disney resort were extensive, and we very much felt like royalty walking (or riding) back to our room each day.

Our Two Bedroom Villa was adorned with modern art discreetly featuring various attractions and characters from the Disney Parks. The bright colors and the bits of magic hidden in the details made it feel like a true home away from home. Everything was thought of ahead of time, including the spaciousness of the room and the accessibility features that were especially important to our family traveling with a child with disabilities.

We spent a day of our trip resting at Bay Lake Tower, as we wanted to truly enjoy the feeling of not only sleeping at, but STAYING at, a Deluxe Disney property. We enjoyed a character dining experience at Chef Mickey’s that morning, which was just a quick walk across the Sky Way Bridge to the Contemporary side.

Our family spent much of the day at the pool and splash pad. The resort hosted poolside activities for the kids, where they had a blast playing together.

Before dinner, we rested in our room before ordering pizzas to be delivered to our Villa. We invited my parents and brother, who were also staying a few doors down at Bay Lake Tower, to join us for our pizza night. We were impressed by the Villa’s size and its ability to comfortably host additional guests for a meal.

During our days at the parks, Bay Lake Tower was the perfect retreat to return to before the next day’s adventure.

We appreciated the ease of coordinating with the team at David’s. With the hustle of a full week at the Disney Parks, they made our stay the least of our worries! We truly recommend David’s Vacation Club Rentals to anyone looking to stay on Disney property! We are super thankful for the opportunity to stay with them and enjoy our Disney vacation to the fullest!
