A Look at a One Bedroom Villa at Disney’s Boardwalk Villas
Renting a one-bedroom villa at any of the Disney Vacation Club resorts is an affordable way to enjoy both the luxury of Disney’s deluxe accommodations along with the comforts of home. Different from a studio, the one-bedroom villa has a full kitchen, in-room laundry facilities, a jacuzzi tub, and a king-size bed in a separate bedroom. Here, let me just show you… this is a one bedroom villa at Disney’s Boardwalk Villas Resort.
When you walk into the room you will find a small foyer with a closet and mirror.
As you walk around the corner, you will come across the kitchen, which is open to the living room.
The kitchen is stocked with the basic necessities including pots and pans, dishes, silverware, etc. There is a toaster, coffee maker and microwave, as well as a full size range and refrigerator.
At the sink area you’ll find a dish drainer and dish soap, but if you’re like me you’ll be using the dishwasher. No one needs to wash dishes on vacation!
The sink has a garbage disposal. Underneath are bins for garbage and recycling.
On the opposite side of the sink is a breakfast bar with two chairs.
The living room can be used as a second bedroom. The TV stand doubles as a dresser and the sofa opens into a queen-size bed.
Beside the sofa is a small dining table with two more chairs. The table is big enough to seat four with the chairs from the breakfast bar.
In the hallway leading to the bathroom and bedroom is a laundry closet with a stacking washer and dryer. I love this! It’s my favorite part of the room.
The bathroom is divided into two rooms, each with a door that leads to the hall. Closest to the bedroom is the one with the jacuzzi tub. It has shutters that open to the bedroom. This room also has a sink and closet.
Beside the closet is a door that connects the two sides of the bathroom.
In the other room is a shower, sink and toilet.
This is the doorway that goes out into the hall from this side of the bathroom. On the right is the laundry closet.
Now we are moving into the bedroom. There’s a king bed with two nightstands, a chest/bench, a dresser, TV and reading chair.
You can access the patio from both the bedroom and the living room. This room had a long narrow patio with a view of the Luna Park pool. I’ve also seen rooms with a big, square-ish patio at the Boardwalk. It just depends on where the room is located.
That concludes today’s tour of the the one-bedroom villa at Disney’s Boardwalk Villas Resort. Are you ready to go? I am!
In case you missed them, here are links to the other room tours I’ve shared here on the blog: Old Key West Studio, Bay Lake Tower Studio, Kidani Village Studio at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Saratoga Springs Soft Goods Refurbishment.
