My 2025 Disney Vision Board!

Posted:  Great Ideas! Parks Resorts

Some people might think that as I round out my second year of having a Walt Disney World Annual Pass, the excitement is starting to fizzle out, and trips are becoming routine. However, that’s not the case for me at all!

Cinderella Castle is seen under sunny skies from across the hub. In the foreground there is landscaping with green foliage and purple and pink flowers, as well as a bronze light post. The “Partners” statue of Walt Disney & Mickey Mouse can also be seen on the left side of the photo

There are so many things I am looking forward to in 2025! There are things that have become a staple for every trip, and I always find something new (to me, at least) to try on every trip. So here are some things on my 2025 (Disney) Vision Board that I am looking forward to trying in 2025!

Visiting the New Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Resort

The yellow and brown exterior of Disney’s Polynesian Island Tower is seen in the sunshine. In front of the building is a resort pool with palm trees, loungers, and tables with umbrellas around it.

Since Caiti and Kristen got to stay at this resort earlier this year, my excitement about visiting has continuously grown! The resort seems so serene and has so many natural elements integrated that I can just imagine feeling transported to a Polynesian island. While I don’t think I will get the chance to stay here as many 2025 dates are already booked up at this resort, I’m hoping to get a chance to visit the grounds and possibly even dine at the Wailulu Bar & Grill. Tip: this can be a great spot to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks if timed correctly!

A sign reading “Wailulu Bar & Grill” in dark blue lettering sits over the doorway into the restaurant at Disney’s Polynesian Island Tower. The carved wooden details in the walls, floor, and restaurant door are visible as is the white and wood interior of the eatery in the distance.

Checking off More DVC Resort Stays

A brown paved walkway at the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is surrounded by yellow flowers and green foliage under a sunny blue sky. The brown and green resort building exterior is seen in the distance along with the rocky waterfall feature.

While I don’t have any trips officially booked for 2025 (shocker, I know!), I hope to stay at a few more Disney Vacation Club resorts in 2025.

The beige exterior of Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is seen under a blue sky.

Now, this one is definitely more of a vision than reality. However, I know I will definitely be staying in at least one DVC resort in December 2025! I was offered a research trip in December 2025 to continue learning about the resorts and parks to better help our guests and owners with any questions or concerns they may have. While it has not been confirmed which resort I will be staying at, I’m excited to stay at a DVC resort in 2025.

The pastel pink, green, and blue buildings of Disney’s Old Key West Resort are seen under a bright blue sky. There is green foliage around the building’s exterior, and a blue lamp post is seen in front of the building’s white stairways.

Getting Back to the Water Parks

I haven’t been to a Disney Water Park since my first trip in 2009! With the new promotion of access to the Water Parks on your check-in day, I can’t wait to see how much has changed.

The exterior entry to Typhoon Lagoon is seen under a blue sky. There is a sign made to look like an old-fashioned ship mast that reads “Welcome! Typhoon Lagoon” blue lettering. Under the sign are buildings designed to look like beach huts, as well as guests waiting to enter the water park.

The water park benefit is only on the day of check-in. It is valid for admission to either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, whichever is open due to refurbishments. I think this is going to be much needed, especially when traveling during the summer months. I remember having so much fun racing down the slides, swimming in the wave pool, and hanging out in the lazy river. I can’t wait to get back and enjoy some fun in the sun!

The light blue water of Castaway Creek lazy river is seen under a blue sky. To the sides of the water are green foliage, rockfaces, and a lifeguard under a blue umbrella. In the distance, the Miss Tilly boat can be seen atop Mount Mayday.

One Last Try to Get that Dino

While Dinoland U.S.A. has officially closed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, DINOSAUR, the attraction, is still open and will continue to be for 2025.  This is one of my favorite rides at Disney World and I can’t wait to ride it a few (dozen) more times in 2025!

A large, green dinosaur replica is seen outside the white building housing the DINOSAUR attraction. Guests are seen on either side of the display under a sunny sky, along with green trees, and the top of the yellow and orange flames of the attraction sign.

Dinoland is being converted to a new area of the park called the Tropical Americas, with attractions inspired by Encanto and Indiana Jones. I am excited to see all the new things, but I am also glad DINOSAUR will still be around for 2025.

A large dinosaur skeleton is displayed under a blue and white ceiling in the pre-show area of the DINOSAUR attraction. The walls have multicolored dinosaur murals on them, and guests wait within the wooden queue railings to experience the ride.

New (To Me) Food

As someone who has been to Disney many times, I know there are still plenty of food and restaurants I have yet to try! Top of my vision board for 2025 is Round Up Rodeo BBQ at Hollywood Studios, Satu’li Canteen at Animal Kingdom, and the Cake Bake Shop at the BoardWalk Villas

A large plastic sign designed to look like pretend wood reads “Roundup Rodeo BBQ” in red, child-like lettering. There are two plastic red lanterns hanging from the sign, and characters Bullseye, Jessie, and more can be seen on additional signage around the restaurant’s exterior.

I also want to try and be a little bit more adventurous in 2025 and try something from a festival booth at EPCOT that I wouldn’t normally try. I know this one is pretty vague, but I am always up for trying anything once, and I think the festivals at EPCOT are the perfect way to do it. With smaller plates and more options, this is a great way to see if you like something you have never had before.

A festival kitchen booth is seen under a blue sky as guests wait in queue for their food. The booth is decorated with dark green and pink flower garlands, along with bright, multicolored chalkboard-style drawings of tropical plants, flowers, and animals. A turquoise sign at the top of the booth reads “EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Vibrante & Vivido: Encanto Cocina”.

Seeing Some New, Familiar, and Frightening Faces

I am SO EXCITED for the return of a nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom this year, and it’s expected to happen later this summer! I think about the Main Street Electrical Parade at least once a week! When I heard that Disney would be creating a new nighttime parade called Disney Starlight featuring beloved characters, new technology, and continuing the legacy of the Main Street Electrical Parade, I was over the moon. I truly cannot wait to see this parade! I am also super excited for the new Villains show coming to Hollywood Studios this summer. I think Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After is a great way to get Disney guests excited about the new Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom in a few years, and I can’t wait to see what this show has in store.

A sign reading “Voyage of the Little Mermaid” in yellow and blue lettering at Hollywood Studios. At the top of the sign there are figures of Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder, Ursula, and King Triton from the animated film in front of a blue, ocean-themed background.

Speaking of Hollywood Studios and entertainment, The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure will also be debuting this summer in Animation Courtyard! There is going to be so much happening for entertainment in Walt Disney World in 2025!

First Disneyland Trip

As my Disney World Annual Pass expires this year, maybe it’s time to start exploring the rest of the world—or perhaps a new Disney park. I have yet to go to any of the other Disney parks besides Disney World in Florida and have been dreaming about heading to Disneyland for many years. What better time than for Disneyland’s 70th anniversary to make the voyage out to California and visit the Happiest Place on Earth!

An oversized blue and grey metal replica of Mickey’s wizard hat, decorated with yellow and blue stars is seen at night surrounded by green foliage. The sign on the display reads “Disneyland Hotel” in blue writing with a drawing of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The hotel exterior can also be seen in the background.

As you can see, my Vision Board for 2025 is chock-full of new and favorite experiences that I am so eager to see and do this year. I can’t wait to get back to the magic and see what adventures lie ahead of me in 2025! I’ll try to keep you updated along the way on our social media platforms and here with our blogs. Be sure to let us know what’s on your 2025 Disney vision board!

The grey, blue, and pink exterior of Cinderella Castle is seen from the right-side angle. The sky is blue and sunny and green foliage and trees are also visible next to the castle.
