Why Choose David’s Vacation Club Rentals?

Wouldn’t it be amazing if there was a way you could book a deluxe Disney villa, not pay Disney’s full price, and still work with vacation coordinators who are knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to help plan your dream trip? This doesn’t have to be just a dream or a wish that your heart makes; it can be a reality! Contacting our team at David’s Vacation Club Rentals is the first step in making those Disney dreams come true!

We are a family-run business that aims to not only help our guests save on their accommodations, but also provide top-notch customer service! David himself is a Disney Vacation Club Member (also referred to as Owners), and from just one little spark of inspiration, he became the pioneer of the DVC point rental business. Nearly fifteen years later, we have grown considerably, and are the oldest and most-trusted Disney Vacation Club point rental company in the world!

Over the years, we have had the opportunity to work with countless guests and DVC Owners from all over the globe, and take great pride and pleasure in helping so many Disney dreams come true! Along with that, we have also gained an immense knowledge of the Disney Vacation Club’s resorts, policies, procedures, and of course, how to use points efficiently.

Our office is full of Disney enthusiasts who keep up with the ever-changing theme park news, events, and refurbishment schedules, so we can help make your trip as magical as possible!

Do you have to be a DVC Member to stay at a DVC resort?

You do not need to be a DVC owner to stay at a DVC resort, nor do you need to be a DVC owner to reserve your stay in a Disney timeshare Deluxe Villa through our service!

Disney’s Beach Club Villas

Our team works to match guests looking to stay in a Disney Vacation Club villa with a DVC owner who has unused points available in their membership. The DVC owner makes the reservation in your name, so you’re able to check-in for your resort stay just as any other guest would – no proof of membership required! DVC guests are able to take advantage of complimentary self-parking, and enjoy the pools, activities, fitness center, and other amenities that their resort has to offer!

Can You Rent a Disney Timeshare?

The Disney Vacation Club is a timeshare program that members are committed to for several years. Booking a DVC villa through our point rental service allows you to experience deluxe accommodations not only at a savings but without the commitment to a Disney Vacation Club Membership contact. The DVC member takes care of their mortgage and annual dues, and when renting your deluxe DVC villa, you take care of the fun!

DVC members are allotted a certain number of points in their membership each year and are able to use those points to book resort reservations. Over the years, there may be a variety of reasons that a DVC member is unable to use his/her points, yet they still need to keep up with their mortgage and annual dues. Rather than making those necessary payments and then letting their points go to waste, many DVC owners choose to rent those points to guests who will put them to good use!

Renting their unused points allows DVC Owners to recoup some of the cost to keep their membership in good standing, and also assist in helping other families see their deluxe Disney dreams become a reality!

How Much Does It Cost to Rent DVC Points?

We talk to a lot of guests who are interested in our services, but see the pricing for the stay they have in mind and ask, “what’s the catch? What’s your fee?” Here’s where it gets even better – the price shown on our Cost Calculator is the total we charge for the room!

Though it may sound too good to be true, the pricing of a DVC deluxe villa through our service is another great reason to consider DVC point rental for your accommodations. The exact pricing for a reservation varies, depending on the travel dates you have in mind, as well as the view type, resort, and size of the villa you’re looking to stay in. That said, our rates are typically ten to forty percent lower than Disney’s regular rates for the same room type!

Does a DVC Rental Include Park Tickets and/or a Dining Plan?

When planning a vacation with Disney directly, many guests assume that they must book a vacation package in order to purchase park tickets and/or a dining plan.

This isn’t the case when renting a DVC villa!

Disney’s Boardwalk Villas

Because you don’t have to commit to a pre-made vacation package when renting a DVC villa, you have the freedom to choose what works best for your ideal itinerary! Guests that book with our service can purchase their preferred type of theme park tickets from any vendor of their choice, allowing you the flexibility of when and how you choose to buy your tickets.

If like me, you often spend your spare time scrolling through and drooling over pictures of all of the culinary delights at Walt Disney World, you may also consider adding a dining plan to your resort reservation. This is also something that you can add to your stay when booked with our service, and our team will be happy to help!

How Far in Advance Can You Rent DVC Points?

The Disney Vacation Club allows bookings to be made up to 11 months in advance. That said, our team at David’s Vacation Club Rentals can accept reservation request forms up to 12 months in advance of your chosen check-in date!

Disney vacations are a popular choice pick for people all over the world, and as we work from the same inventory of rooms as all DVC Owners, planning in advance and submitting your reservation request form as close to the 11 month window is what we recommend. That said, availability can vary depending on the resort, room and view type, and time of year you’re looking to travel, so we never say never until we have checked the DVC inventory. Here is a link to the “When to book” section of our site that helps to give timelines for when each resort, room size, and view tends to book up; https://dvcrequest.com/information/when-to-book

While I’m a member of the David’s Vacation Club Rentals team, I’m also a repeat guest! I have booked several of my own resort stays through our service. I had previously stayed in the Value and Moderate resorts, yet after my first DVC stay, I was hooked on the Deluxe Villa life!

As Mary Poppins says, “in every job that must be done there is an element of fun,” and this is definitely a sentiment we hold dear. Our team loves working to help make as many DVC dreams come true, and we hope to help you with your next jolly holiday!
