Picking a Resort that Works for Me – Disney’s Beach Club Villas
Who doesn’t love the beach? I know I sure do! With all the different resorts on the property in Walt Disney World, I must say Disney’s Beach Club Villas is a breathtaking location giving guests that authentic beach feeling. While remaining casual, as soon as you step into this lobby, you will find exquisite Disney touches and pure beauty. I won’t lie; this resort was not always on my radar. However, there are lots of things I tend to fall in love with every time I visit.
With outstanding outdoor water recreation areas, delicious dining options, easy access to EPCOT, and different transportation locations to make your way around, this resort checks off a lot of my needs when visiting Disney!
I have never had the pleasure of staying at this resort, but I have had the pleasure of visiting this resort a few times. If you are looking for different transportation options, this resort has a few! You can travel to and from this resort by bus, boat, Disney’s Skyliner, or even walking, as this resort is within close proximity to EPCOT.
I love being able to walk to and from EPCOT as well as Disney’s Hollywood Studios (if it’s not too hot that day). Also, there is access to the Friendship boats! The friendship boats visit different locations close to this resort, which include; EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Boardwalk Villas.
You can always take the bus or the Skyliner to the parks and resorts farther away. The Beach Club is great for making your way around!
Disney’s Beach Club Villas has some delicious options for dining on the property, and even though I have not had the pleasure of dining at all these locations, I have a few on my bucket list and a couple I have enjoyed a few times!
Disney’s Beach Club Marketplace is a great spot to pop in when looking for a quick bite to eat, or if you want to do a little shopping, you can pick up some cute Disney attire!
A favorite spot of mine to visit is Beaches & Cream Soda Shop! This fun dining option is open for lunch and dinner, and you can find some tasty options on the menu, along with some fun specialized ice cream shenanigans for everyone in the diner to join in on! If you haven’t ordered the Kitchen sink, you should round up some pals and try it out!
Other delicious places to dine at Disney’s Beach Club Villas include Cape May Café and Yachtsman’s Steakhouse. I have yet to enjoy these experiences, but I have heard great things and cannot wait to explore more of the food options at this resort!
I won’t lie; when I think of Disney’s Beach Club Villas, the first thing that comes to mind is their fantastic pool options. I genuinely love all the pools at this resort and think each one will give you a different kind of experience.
With three leisure pools, you will find pure serenity in every single one, and every time I have walked around the grounds, these pools always seem so quiet and relaxing.
The main pool, and the one that everyone seems to talk about, is Stormalong Bay. This pool is exclusive to guests staying at this resort, with 3 acres of fun to enjoy, and you can find all sorts of things to do!
You can put your feet in the sand bottom pool, float down the lazy river with your tube, kick back in one of the whirlpool spas, or take a thrilling ride down the 230-foot-long waterslide that is a life-sized shipwreck!
Either way, you are sure to have some fun splashing around!
I love Disney’s Beach Club Villas and hope one day I get to stay here. It checks off a lot of my wants and needs when traveling to Disney, and it seems like the perfect resort for me!
