What DVC Resort is best for you?

Posted:  Resorts

If you had to choose one DVC Resort that works best for you, which would it be? We all have our preferences for transportation, dining options, and atmosphere with Disney. There are so many DVC Resort options to choose from that provide you with different experiences!

When I am choosing a place to stay at Disney, an important part of my trip is the experience itself and making it easy for me to get around. Getting the opportunity on my last trip, I would stay at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge any trip, as it did fit my needs and is a resort that worked best for me!

Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a resort I recommend to any guest. This resort is close to Magic Kingdom with fun and efficient transportation experiences, an awing atmosphere of everything rustic, and delicious food options!

Water Taxi at Magic Kingdom

When I am staying at Disney, I want to make sure I can get around efficiently while enjoying the time, and my favorite way to move around is to hop on the water taxi and sail across the Seven Seas Lagoon to get to Magic Kingdom. Once you arrive, you can make your way into the park, or you can make your way over to the Monorail and start your Disney adventure for the day. You can also take the bus over to the other parks or a specific resort if you are visiting for a bite to eat.

As soon as you step onto the grounds of Copper Creek, you have entered a grove. From beautiful details throughout the lobby to the outdoor walking paths around the resort, Disney’s attention to detail is flawless.

With little woodland creatures and homage to the Pacific Northwest heritage, Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge make for an enchanted stay. The rooms are where modern meets rustic and provide a lovely spacious area with lots of storage.

Again, you will find tiny details throughout the room to match the theme of this resort, and it does not disappoint!

Copper Creek Springs Pool is magnificent, with a running stream into the pool, surrounding you with the calm essence of the wilderness, making this area even more relaxing, especially in the early mornings.

The food options are endless and delicious at this resort! You can find all your options here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, depending on where you go! I love the pulled pork sandwich from Roaring Fork, or if you are looking for a tasty snack throughout your day, Geyser Point Bar & Grill has some delicious chicken wings and edamame, and I personally recommend trying both!

Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is a different and fun experience! You can meet certain characters from one of Disney’s classic fairytales while you enjoy your visit to the Enchanted Forest! I loved the experience I had at this restaurant and loved getting to meet some of my favorite characters!

Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge suits me best as it has everything I look for in a resort. While I am close to all the Disney hustle and bustle, I still have the calming sense of nature around me. I can enjoy my morning coffee along the beautiful Bay Lake before starting a busy Disney day, and that view never disappoints!

Overall, there are certain things I take into consideration when planning your Disney trip, and I have found the DVC resort that has worked best for me!
