Walt Disney World Resort Activities Schedules
Looking for something to do on a “Non-Park Day”? Consider a “Resort Day” instead. I highly recommend planning a day of down-time into your schedule, especially if you are going to be at Walt Disney World for more than 4 days. A day in the middle of your trip to rest and relax will recharge you for the rest of your park touring. It’s also a great way to stretch your Disney budget!
All of the Disney resorts offer fun activities for guests to partake in. From poolside parties to movies under the stars, it’s easy to find entertaining things to do at the resorts. The number one favorite resort activity is swimming and the pools at the resorts are fantastic. But if you’re not one to spend the whole day at the pool, there are plenty of other fun activities to choose from – everything from archery to wine tasting!
Each resort has different activities to choose from. For example, at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Cultural Representatives teach guests about the animals, customs and culture of Africa. At the Grand Floridian young princesses get the attention they deserve during the Princess Promenade. You can roast marshmallows at a campfire and watch a movie right on the beach at the Beach Club or catch the torch lighting ceremony at the Polynesian. As long as you are a guest at one of the Disney resorts you can partake in the activities at any of the resorts. (There are some restrictions on pool hopping however.)
Disney publishes a monthly Resort Activities schedule for each resort. Thanks to the folks at themouseforless.com you can access the schedules online by clicking on the links below. New schedules are posted every month. The schedules list alternate locations in the event of inclement weather. Movies and entertainment are subject to cancellation or change without notice.
