My Top Picks: My Favorite Rides in the Disney Parks!

What type of excitement are you looking for when you visit Disney? Are you looking for a ride that will bring out the kid in you, a thrilling or virtual reality experience, a ride that you love to get on every single time you visit, or do you like to be there for the opening of something new?

To be honest, I love them all, and I have gotten the opportunity to enjoy all of these experiences. With so many rides to choose from in Disney, I wanted to narrow it down and get into my favorite ride in each Disney Park.

From Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Animal Kingdom to Epcot, they all have classic nostalgia mixed with some new flashy excitement, and there are certain rides from my past and most recent visits that are necessary for me to go on when in Disney!

Tree of Life in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.

Walking into Disney’s Animal Kingdom, after I gaze over the Tree of Life, my first stop is Avatar Flight of Passage, located in Pandora – The World of Avatar. This is by far my favorite ride in this park! Once you make your way inside, the wait to get onto your mountain banshee is very interactive, where you are generated into a visitor to Pandora and become a Na’vi! You then will fly through mountains, over the top of oceans, and experience all types of immersive functions during this 3D journey. I cannot tell you enough how much I love this ride!

Making our way over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this park is always a fun time and one of my favorite parks out of the four. Disney has put so much detail into everything they do, like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land. However, my favorite ride at this park can be found somewhere else. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror brings back memories with my family and is always so much fun! It has my palms sweating before I even hop on! After being strapped in, everything will become known in the tower right before you plummet down, screaming in terror. I always forget when the drop is, and it gets me every time, repeatedly making for an exciting ride!

My absolute favorite park of them all is Magic Kingdom! Seeing Cinderella Castle always makes me feel happy and like a kid again. I love walking up Main Street, U.S.A., checking out the shops, and grabbing a treat before walking to Tomorrowland. I love this area as it has one of my favorite food locations (Cosmic Rays) and, you guessed it, my next favorite ride, Space Mountain. I do like a bit of excitement when I am visiting Disney, and this ride takes the cake! Engulfed in darkness after you blast off into space, this ride does not disappoint with speed and laughter, and if I can give you any advice, make sure your hair is down and you are ready to ride in the rocket!

Last but not least, we have Epcot. I love Epcot, and this park now holds my most loved ride out of them all: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! This ride is the most fun-loving experience I have had in a long time. After waiting in line, we were off on our “Intergalactic Chase through Space,” and with some classic tunes blasting, I was singing and dancing while soaring through the galaxy! I had the time of my life! I rode this ride three times during my last trip and do not regret it!

There are many things to choose from when you are at Disney, and I love visiting all the parks to take a spin on my favorite rides. Out of them all, I would go into space with the Guardians any day, anytime, as long as we had a good playlist!
