Disney Music Makes it a Great Trip!

Posted:  Entertainment Parks Recreation

The last time I visited Disney, I had one of those “Aha” moments I like to call them. I realized how much those old Disney songs get me excited throughout all the parts of our trips. There were lots of singing moments that happened on our last visit, and I realized no matter the ride or show that we were about to experience, we could not stop singing. The music had us dancing, singing, and overall pumping us up for our adventures.

I’m starting with one of the rides I always hop onto when I get to Epcot; it’s the Seas with Nemo & Friends

Entrance to the Seas with Nemo & Friends

This ride is an adventure under the sea where you find Nemo lost again and is one of my favorites for its fantastic characters, fun engagement, and overall smooth ride through the Big Blue World with that catchy song at the end of the ride.

This ride is not so much a sing-along, but it gets you into the flow of things! You get to hang out with Crush, little squirt, and all the fun characters in this classic fish “tail.”

And try not to forget Bruce the Shark, he is here to help you find Nemo! Be sure to “just keep swimming” in your Clamobile and look for any signs of Nemo!

Next on my list, the Disney Classic Country Bear Jamboree! Check out this fun country-western musical starring an entire cast of singing bears. This musical is one of the last shows Walt Disney himself helped develop and is still going strong! This show will have you using your hands and feet, singing along, and laughing uncontrollably! I think this is why it is one of my favorites! I never seem to stop smiling when I am watching this show!

These tunes consist of original and classic songs, with 18 Audio-Animatronic bears. You can find these bears swinging from the ceilings, popping out from behind the curtains, and catch a glimpse of some other fun critters. This show always puts me into the Disney spirit when making my way through the Magic Kingdom and has me slapping my knee and singing along!

Another stop I could not keep out of my mind was the classic tale that is as old as time, the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along film. I always seem to make my way over to the France pavilion in Epcot, where you can find this fun interaction for guests.

Not a ride, but this video that debuted in January 2020 is a great way to start your day if you want to experience some nostalgia. I love to sing, and the story of Belle and the Beast is one of my all-time favorites!

Narrated by the lovely Mrs. Potts, the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along has a little bit of a twist with all of the characters we love so much! Lefou has more of a role in this tale, but I will not give away the story! Songs you will hear are some of my personal favorites, like Be Our Guest, and I’m sure it will have you singing by the end of this new take on this classic story.

Time to make our way back to the water and visit Ariel at the Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid

Entrance to Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at Magic Kingdom

This ride takes us through The Little Mermaid’s classic love story with Prince Eric; from swimming and twirling with all her sea friends, being transformed into a human, and all the adventure in-between, this ride has all the music to go along with it. I cannot help but be engaged when I start this journey, as it always brings out the kid in me!

Sebastian singing Under the Sea adds in excitement throughout the ride, and Ariel’s Part of Your World is another classic you’ll hear throughout this adventure. Be sure to sing along, as singing along is what makes this ride so awesome!

And for my last but most desired ride, Frozen Ever After.

Entrance to Frozen Ever After

Hope onto your Nordic vessel and be prepared to be taken on an adventure. Starting off with the song; Do You Want to Build a Snowman, this ride gets you right into the swing of things with the music, and more great songs from this movie come to follow.

Be swept to Arendelle where your winter wonderland awaits along with all your friends! Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and so many more great characters join you on this quest and learn how to let it go! Frozen is a bit more of a fresh face to Disney but has quickly made its way into Disney as an everlasting classical tale with tons of music to go along with it.

To say these are the only rides or shows that to get you into the “sing” of things is an understatement! You could be standing in line for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and start Hi-Ho-ing as you move towards your Mine Train. You could already have It’s a Small World stuck in your head before entering the park or be hanging out in Toy Story Land humming the classic memorable tune You’ve Got a Friend in Me.

These are just a few favorites that again get me into the child-like awe of Disney and make me remember why I love Disney so much. You can find some nostalgic music getting you pumped up for your days anywhere in Disney, whether it be a ride, a show, a character cavalcade, or just waiting in line; these songs usually tend to get me into the Disney spirit!
