July Activities Schedules for Disney Vacation Club Resorts

The theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort are amazing for sure. If you’re reading this I know you want to be there right now, don’t you? Riding Space Mountain, wandering World Showcase, bouncing like Tigger on the Kilimanjaro Safari vehicles – we love it all! But all that fun can be exhausting too. How many times have you gone home feeling like you need a vacation after your vacation?

Our senses are on overload when we’re in the parks. At every turn there’s something new to see, smell, hear, feel. After awhile, all that excitement and stimulation can feel like too much and a day spent at your resort is a great way to dial everything down a notch. I highly recommend planning a day of “down-time” into your schedule, especially if you are going to be there for more than 4 days. A day in the middle of your trip to rest and relax will recharge you for the rest of your park touring.

Of course, everything being relative, “down-time” at Walt Disney World isn’t likely to entail a day of doing nothing at all. The number one favorite resort activity is swimming and the pools at the resorts are fantastic. But if you’re not one to spend the whole day at the pool, there are plenty of other fun activities to choose from – everything from archery to wine tasting!
