In January 2012, my wife and I made our first trip to Walt Disney World without our daughters since our honeymoon. I was walking/running the Half Marathon, but the girls school schedule had them back to school and so they stayed with their grandmothers.

The UK pavilion is a favorite of ours, and our visit to Epcot got us to the UK just after the girls were getting home from school. While my wife was shopping, I texted my oldest daughter and gave her the phone number of the right UK phone booth and told her to be ready. Once my wife came out of the shops, I told her to go to the right booth and texted my daughter to call. My wife and daughters were able to chat together for about five minutes while I took photos of the event. It was a neat way to share the trip together.

While all of this was happening, I was aware of a man that was walking around the area on his phone and realized he was calling whichever phone booth had a new person in it. As we were leaving the pavilion we walked by him and I said "Good Job!"

It's fun to be in on the magic!
